The drive, called 'Bhagidari Campaign' invites schools, colleges and other institutions to become part of it, and will even award participants based on their performance.
Due to lack of awareness among the residents, the city is becoming dirty. So, to make people aware and keep it clean we are starting this campaign. The first phase of the drive will start on Gandhi Jayanti, October 2, District Magistrate Roshan Jacob, said in a statement
"All institutions who want to participate, have to register themselves online. Then, they must chose the spot where they wish to carry the drive. The participants will then have to click pictures of the spot, before and after the campaign and upload the same on the district administration website. The campaign will start at 7 AM," he said.
Finally, the administration will visit the place and accordingly decide which organisations are to be awarded.
"The one's with the best work will stand out to be the winners," he added.
