This was to meet public demand and to facilitate submission of applications for frequent travelers due to extended time in getting appointments, a release from the Regional Passport office said here today.
The PSK will function on Saturday like any other normal working day and applications would be accepted as per time slots allotted to the applicants, a release said.
All applicants should log on to the official website (www.passportindia.gov.in) to participate in the mela , register online, generate Application Registration Number (ARN) and pay online the fees to take appointment.
Applications under fresh and re-issue categories alone will be accepted, it said.
Applications for PCCs (Police Clearance Certificates) walk-ins including on holdand refused tokens will not be entertained during the mela, the release said.
