Special train service between Jalandhar, Katra to start tom

The Northern Railways has decided to run a special train between Katra and Jalandhar from tomorrow in view of the rush of pilgrims to the Vaishno Devi shrine in Jammu and Kashmir.
A special express train service would be started between Jalandhar and Katra which would benefit the devotees visiting the Vaishno Devi shrine, said Northern Railways Ferozepur Zonal Manager, Anuj Prakash.
The train service would start tomorrow from Katra and continue till October 1 and it would be run for five days a week, he said.
The express train would would leave Katra station at 1.20 pm and reach Jalandhar at 6.50 pm, a railways official said.
It would leave Jalandhar at 5.10 am and reach Katra at 12.30 pm, he added.
