Expressing concern over the tardy progress of probe into alleged cases of corruption during the previous BJP government, Himachal Lokhit Party (HLP) today asked the Congress government to speed up investigations.
"We have raised several issues of corruption during the BJP regime and Congress had promised thorough probe of the allegations but the progress of investigations is very slow and nothing concrete has come out during past five months," HLP president Maheshwar Singh told mediapersons here.
"The HLP had given six months time to Congress government to take all the corruption cases to their logical end and our issue based support the government would be reviewed in July," he said.
No action has been taken against the erring officials and politicians in phone tapping, dubious land deals, land given to HPCA and private universities and other charges, he said.
