"The company's plants have been shut down on March 27, 2016 for carrying out annual maintenance jobs after reaching the capped production of 6,20,400 MTs of Urea", the city-based manufacture of fertilisers said in a notification to NSE.
The plants were expected to resume operation after "41 days", it said, adding it would keep the exchanges informed "no sooner the plants are restarted".
The company has two manufacturing units in Tuticorin in the state.
