Budget carrier SpiceJet has deferred the announcement of third quarter financial results to tomorrow as its board could only partially take up the matters listed during today's meet.
In a regulatory filing, the airline said its board "could only partially complete the agenda items and the meeting has now been adjourned for tomorrow (February 7) to consider and approve, inter-alia, the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results" for the third quarter ended December 31, 2017.
The company was to announce the quarterly results today.
"Further, in accordance with the Sebi (Prohibition of Insider Trading) Regulations, 2015, the trading window is now closed up to February 9, 2018 (end of the day)," the filing said.
SpiceJet's net profit stood at Rs 105.28 crore in the September quarter of the fiscal as it recorded a higher total income of Rs 1,838.49 crore in the second quarter of financial year 2017-18.
Currently, the no-frills carrier operates around 402 daily flights to 51 destinations -- 44 domestic and seven international ones -- with a fleet of 38 Boeing 737s and 22 Bombardier Q-400s.
