The airline also said it has so far seen the highest demand for its offer on the New Delhi-Srinagar sector.
SpiceJet had on Wednesday announced its first 'Super Sale' offer of this year, with 5,00,000 seats for sale at all inclusive one-way advance booking fares, starting as low as Rs 1,499.
The ticket booking period of the three days was originally scheduled to end today.
"SpiceJet has decided to extend the discount booking days by two more days, till February 1, in view of the high demand. The Super Sale offer has thus far seen the highest demand for New Delhi-Srinagar sector, a trend that shows Kashmir Valley recovering from the impact of the floods last year and once again assuming its rightful place as a hot spot for holidays," the airline said in a release.
SpiceJet witnessed booking volumes quadrupling on the first day of offer, indicating continuing pent up demand in the market despite other airlines having held sales earlier this month, it said, adding the advance booking days have hence been extended.
"We are glad to see such exuberant response for our first promo offer of the year, indicating the huge pent up demand that there is in the market. Considering the demand, we are extending this offer for two more days," SpiceJet Chief Commercial Officer Kaneswaran Avili said.
