SpiceJet to launch thrice a week flight Ahmedabad-Muscat flght

Expanding its international network, no-frills carrier SpiceJet will launch its thrice a week flight between Ahmedabad and Muscat from next month.
The commercial flights between Muscat and Ahmedabad would commence from August 29, and the thrice a week service will be operated on a 189-seater Boeing 737-800 New Generation aircraft.
The Kalanithi Maran-owned airline had expanded its global footprint in the recent past by adding several cities in the Middle Eastern and Asian regions to its network. Muscat will be the ninth international destination of the airline.
"The thrice-a-week flight between Indian and Oman would be improve connectivity between two thriving centers for trade and commerce," a statement from the airline said.
The airline has also opened the sale of the tickets. It is offering an introductory one way fare of 5,999, inclusive of all taxes, on Ahmedabad-Muscat route.
The airline currently operates more than 350 daily flights to over 45 Indian cities and eight international destinations.
