SpiceJet to start 2nd daily Kolkata-Dhaka flight

Budget carrier SpiceJet today announced its second daily direct flight from Kolkata to Dhaka.
The new flight will be operational from May 16 and the bookings for the route are currently open, the airline said.
The move comes a month after the airline flagged off its first daily direct flight service on the Kolkata-Dhaka route.
The airline, which provides services to seven international destinations, is the only low-cost carrier to operate flights on this sector, it said.
Dhaka is the second international destination after Bangkok that the airline will be serving with a daily direct flight from Kolkata, SpiceJet added.

SpiceJet operates 342 daily flights to 46 destinations, including 39 domestic and 7 international ones.
