Spices rules steady in lacklustre trade

Spices ruled stable in an otherwise lacklustre spices market here today in the absence of any worthwhile large-scale buying.
Meanwhile, copra office Alapuzha and copra office Kozhikode markets were closed on account of "Strike".

Black pepper (per kg) 740/790 (740/790), ginger bleached (per kg) 250 (250), ginger unbleached (per kg) 270 (270), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) closed (9,000), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) closed (8,900), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 21,500 (21,500), copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 12,500 (12,500).
