Sports Minister launches live screening of Rio Olympics

Sports Minister Vijay Goel today launched the live screening of Rio Olympics at Central Park, Connaught Place, in the presence of former athletes Karnam Malleswari and Anju Bobby George besides cricketer Gautam Gambhir.
It was third event organised by the ministry to connect with the youth of the city with the Olympic spirit and power of sports.
India has sent its largest ever contingent to the Olympics.
Speaking on the occasion, Goel urged the people especially the youth to visit Central Park in large numbers to express their support for the Indian contingent in Rio.
