Refined soya oil prices were up by 1.13 per cent to Rs 604 per 10 kg in futures trade today amid pick up in domestic demand and restricted supplies from producing regions.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery this month moved up by Rs 6.75, or 1.13 per cent, to Rs 604 per 10 kg with an open interest of 14,260 lots.
Likewise, the oil for delivery in February contracts traded higher by Rs 5.60, or 0.94 per cent, to Rs 599.45 per 10 kg in 95,470 lots.
Market analysts said besides pick up in demand in the spot market, restricted supplies from producing belts mainly led to rise in refined soya oil prices at futures trade.
