Spin legend Shane Warne says the ongoing Indian Premier Legaue spot-fixing scandal is like a "kick in the teeth" for cricket.
Errant Indian pacer Sreesanth and two other bowlers from Rajasthan Royals team were arrested in a post-midnight operation in Mumbai yesterday by Delhi Police for spot-fixing IPL matches for payments of up to Rs 60 lakhs just for giving away pre-determined number of runs in an over.
"This feels like a kick in the teeth for them, the Royals fans, the Royals players and the game of cricket," Warne said in a statement on his Twitter feed.
It was under Warne's captaincy that the Royals trimphed in the inaugural edition of the cash-rich T20 league in 2008.
Warne said he will support current Rajasthan skipper Rahul Dravid.
"I will be supporting Rahul and the boys more than ever in their game against Hyderabad today. Go Royals."

A special cell of the Delhi police arrested Sreesanth and his teammates -- Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan -- for indulging in spot-fixing in at least three IPL matches as per arrangements with bookies who have underworld connections abroad.
The players, who have been suspended by the BCCI, have been brought to Delhi and charged under section 420 (cheating) and 120-B (criminal conspiracy) of the IPC.
