The "Spring Auction - Indian Masters" of the online based marketplace for rare and premium luxury ranging from art, antiquities, vintage, premium real estate and collectibles is scheduled on March 8 and March 9, auctioneers said.
"The artworks are expected to fetch Rs 7.5 crores. An artwork by F N Souza which is expected to fetch Rs 1 crore will be the highlight of the auction," Sanchit Saraf, CEO, Bidsvilla said.
Jha said, "It took us over a year of study, research and fraternize with the Indian art community to reach this point. Our motive is to root out problems of fake and information asymmetry to help Indian art reach its pinnacle.
