Spurned youth pushes teenage girl into well, held

An 18-year-old girl was killed allegedly by a youth who pushed her into a well after she spurned his proposal, at Shelapur Shivar village in Buldhana district, police said today.
The accused, identified as Pawan Narkhede, allegedly pushed Trupti Narkhade (18) into the well in a fit of rage after she refused to go out with him yesterday, they said.
The villagers caught Pawan and thrashed him before handing him over to police.
