Spurt in dog bite cases in Sikandrabad town

The Sikandrabad town in the district has witnessed a spurt in instances of dog bite, with nearly 15-20 such cases being treated at the government hospital here everyday.
Biting by stray dogs is posing a major danger to public safety here, said Harsh Narula, Superintendent of government hospital here.
According to Narula, as against 2-3 cases of dog bites everyday earlier, the hospital is now treating 15-20 cases everyday.
On being questioned over the menace, Chairman of the City Board of Sikandrabad Indra Saini said the Board has no place to keep stray dogs in captivity.
