In a letter to Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, he wanted action against an IPS officer and two others as recommended by CBI for their "unprofessional conduct of investigation".
Muraleedharan, a former KPCC chief, said it was strange that the UDF government decided not to proceed against the officers within 43 days of its coming to office in May 2011.
Injecting a new element into the ISRO spy issue, the Congress MLA at a meeting here yesterday had said, "If there was a political conspiracy behind the ISRO spy case, the then prime minister P V Narasimha Rao would have had a role in it."

Muraleedharan took on Rao while speaking at a meeting held by a local organisation "to extend apology" to former ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan, who along with five others, including another space scientist, were charged by police in the case but exonerated by the court after the CBI probe.
The two scientists and four others including two Maldivian women were accused of transferring certain secret documents on India's space programme to foreign countries.
Last month, the Kerala High Court had directed the government to pay Rs 10 lakh as compensation to Narayanan, triggering a debate on taking action against three police officials for their "unprofessional conduct".
One of them, Sibi Mathew, who headed the SIT then, was made Chief Information Commissioner of the state after he took VRS from service a few months ago.
