Sri Lankan student reported missing

A Sri Lankan girl student doing hotel management course at a college in Moodbidri near here has been reported missing from her hostel since July 25, police said.
The hostel authorities have in their police complaint said 26-year-old Sattambiralage Don Nimnatarushi Sebastian had left the hostel in the morning on July 25 but did not attend her classes that day and did not return.
She had earlier complained to the warden about insufficient facilities in the hostel room.
Police sources said CCTV footage showed her travelling along the Moodbidri-Mangaluru road and they suspected that she might be staying at some lodge in the city.

The investigation was in progress, police said and sought help of the public to trace the student.
