Sri Sri Ravi Shankar against coalition govt

Virtually criticising Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee's idea of a federal front, spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar today said any coalition government would not be good for the nation.
"When there is a coalition government, the partners waste time in fighting among themselves and it leaves no time for productive and development work," Shankar told reporters here.
The Art of Living founder said reacting to the BJP promise of construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya in its manifesto that any government at the Centre must take into confidence both sides before doing anything.
In a change of stance, the spiritual leader praised Arvind Kejriwal, whom he had criticised recently, saying his intentions are good but he may be doing things too early.

"They are good people. I know them. Their imitative is very nice but may be they are doing things too early. They do not have the experience of governing," Shankar said.
He condemned Kejriwal getting slapped earlier in the day at a roadshow, saying it is "outrageous".
