Srijit Mukherjee's 'Yeti Obhijaan', the first Bengali film to be shot extensively in the Alps mountain range, will be released across Nepal in end September.
'Yeti Obhijaan' will be the first Bengali film to be dubbed in Nepalese language and released across Nepal, a spokesperson of the producers SVF said today.
Based on the novel 'Paharchuray Atanko' by celebrated Bengali writer Sunil Gangopadhyay, 'Yeti Obhijaan' is scheduled for a Durga Puja release in India. It will be released in Nepal around the same time.
The film will be released in 50 screens in Nepal on September 22.
The film starred Bengali superstar Prosenjit Chatterjee among others and has been shot in snow-clad mountain peaks in the Alps.
