The Regional Passport Office, which was damaged by the last month's devastating floods, has resumed work and would receive fresh applications from tomorrow, officials said here today.
The functioning of the Regional Passport Office (RPO) Srinagar has been restarted from yesterday and intending applicants can now submit applications for fresh Passports under normal category on all working days from tomorrow, an official spokesman said.
He said the applicants should carry Passport Application Forms along with the original and self attested photocopies of the required documents, one recent colored passport-size photograph (with white background) affixed on the form and the applicable fees in Cash or Demand Draft favouring Passport Officer, Srinagar, payable here.
The spokesman said the intending applicants are informed to download and print the Passport Application form using the option "Print Application Form" under Forms and Affidavits available on the Passport portal.
Applicants also have the option of filling up the form online, he said, adding in case the fee has been paid online, a copy of the fee payment receipt needs to be submitted along with other documents.
