SRM Energy's loss narrows to Rs 15.36 lakh in second quarter

Mumbai-based SRM Energy Ltd's net loss narrowed to Rs 15.36 lakh for the quarter ended on September 30, 2015.
The company has reported a standalone net loss of Rs 15.36 lakh for the quarter ended on September 30, 2015 compared to Rs 29.4 lakh in the same period last year, SRM Energy Ltd said in a BSE filing.
SRM Energy Ltd (formerly known as Hitkari Fibres Ltd), is a part of the Spice Energy Group. It is implementing a total of 4,000 MW of power generating capacity in India.
To facilitate faster fund raising and resource mobilization, the group has taken over Hitkari Fibres Limited, and merged the Special Purpose Vehicle formed for implementing power projects - SRM Energy Private Ltd.-with Hitkari Fibres Ltd. The merged entity has been named as 'SRM Energy Ltd', said the information provided on company's official website.
