According to official sources here, Rajnish Kumar of Bihar, who was posted at Bagha area, came for his quarter guard duty at 10 am and shot himself with his Insas rifle.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead, the sources said.
It is suspected that Kumar took the extreme step because he was apparently upset over being shifted to Arunachal Pradesh for duty.
