The DMK heir apparent broke into an impromptu dance with the members of Kotha and Toda tribes at a village near Ninth Mile on Gudalur Thorapalli road here.
While the former Deputy Chief Minister did not resort to a detailed jig, he, however, shook a leg, taking steps in circular form drawing cheers, especially from his supporters.
The members of the tribal groups were in their traditional attire while Stalin, in his formal dress, was seen sporting a long garland and a tribal shawl.
It may be recalled that Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and AIADMK supremo J Jayalalithaa had broken into an impromptu dance with the local Badaga community members, while on a stay at Kodanadu hill resort in 2008. She was Opposition Leader then.
Meanwhile, in his public meetings, Stalin said DMK will make efforts to remove the ban imposed by the ruling AIADMK on the Master Plan, prohibiting construction in the hill region, as there was no infrastructure development as a result.
