Campaigning for his party candidate in this Lok Sabha constituency, DMK Treasurer M K Stalin today criticised the election manifesto of the BJP.
"It is anti-public. There are no welfare schemes. Besides there is no assurance for the welfare of Sri Lankan Tamils or Tamil fishermen," he said.
He said chief minister Jayalalithaa uses a helicopter for campaigning but the DMK mingles with the public and has a real idea of the people's needs. On the other hand, the chief minister, who is campaigning by helicopter, would never be able to make concrete decisions for society's welfare, he claimed.
"The bird eye view style of CM would never make any decisions for the welfare of the society," he said.
Stalin met voters in Nallampalli, Pennagaram, Palacode, Papparappatti, Kambainallur, Morappur and Harur covering Dharmapuri, Pennagaram, Palacode, Pappireddipatti and Harur (SC) Assembly segments in Dharmapuri Lok Sabha seat, seeking votes for his party candidate R.Thamaraiselvan.
