Stalin, wife have Rs 5.84 cr assets

DMK Treasurer M K Stalin, contesting the May 16 Assembly elections from Kolathur here, has declared total assets, including that of his wife, at Rs 5.84 crore.
Stalin, who filed his nomination today, has Rs 1.11 crore worth movable assets, including bank deposits, while his wife Durgavathi Stalin has old jewellery valued at Rs 15.73 lakh, according to the affidavit filed by him.
The DMK leader neither owns car, jewellery nor has any investments in financial institutions apart from owning agriculture and residential properties in Tiruvallur and Tiruvarur districts.
The 63-year-old leader has immovable assets, including agricultural land and residential property, valued at Rs 3.33 crore while his wife has Rs 1.38 crore worth properties.

Stalin and his wife have declared annual income of Rs 17.67 lakh, the affidavit said.
