Stamp-seller attacked, robbed

A stamp-seller was attacked and robbed of cash by two unidentified persons while he was on way to his home here this evening.
Sanjay Gupta, who works as a stamp-seller in premises of the Registry Department, was attacked on his head with the butt of a gun when he resisted the robbery bid, police said.
After attacking him, the duo snatched his bag which contained cash and some important documents, they said.
On Gupta's complaint, a case was registered, police said, adding a hunt was on to nab the robbers.
