Standard signs Alia Bhatt as brand ambassador

Switchgear products and fan maker Standard, a part of Havells India, has roped in Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt as its brand ambassador for its range of products.
Alia would endorse Standard's range of home and industrial switches and range of premium fans, the company said in a statement.
The company will launch advertising campaigns and TVC with Alia by the end of this month, the company said in a statement.
Commenting on the development Havells India CMD Anil Rai Gupta said: "We are delighted to have Alia Bhatt as the brand ambassador for 'Standard' brand. She represents young energy of India, which will be the new positioning for the brand."

Alia Bhatt said: "Brand Standard is making that possible by fulfilling the aspirations of today's contemporary consumers with world class products and wonderful product range. I am happy to be associated with the brand Standard."
Standard manufactures a wide range of products which includes domestic and industrial products such as MCBs,RCCBs, Distribution Boards (DBs),ACBs, MCCBs, RCBOs Changeover Switches, Switch Disconnector Fuses(SDFs), HBC Fuses, Modular Switches, Copper Flexible Cables etc.
It has also started manufacturing premium range of ceiling fans, table-fans, wall-mounted fans, pedestal fans and domestic exhaust fans.
