Disney has announced an all-new 'Star Wars' vacation experience that will give the fans of the franchise an opportunity to experience the galaxy far, far away.
The announcement comes after the recent opening of Galaxy's Edge, an attraction that gives fans a chance to pilot Han Solo's famous starship Millennium Falcon.
Called "Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser", the new property will be a first-of-its-kind vacation experience where guests will check in for a two-night adventure aboard a starship.
Once onboard, guests will interact with the characters and become active participants in the stories that unfold around them on their galactic journey.
Bob Chapek, Chairman Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, revealed the news just ahead of D23 Expo 2019.
Chapek called "Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser" their "most immersive storytelling experience".

"We are in the process of creating it now. It's a Star Wars adventure unlike any other. It's not an attraction nor is it a land or a hotel. It is a journey and if you've ever dreamed of travelling on a Starship, your time has come," Chapek told a select group of journalists.
He said the experience will give die-hard "Star Wars" fans a chance to interact with the characters of the film, created by George Lucas, and soak in the atmosphere.
"Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser" is the Halcyon, one of the planets in the Star Wars universe, which is a part of the Chandrila Star Line.
Chapek also shared plans for an attraction 'Journey of Water', inspired by Walt Disney Animation Studios hit movie "Moana", besides unveiling the name of their enthralling Super Heroes-themed lands, to be called "Avengers Campus".
In the "Avengers Campus", guests will get a chance to become part of an interconnected, global story that spans from California to Paris to Hong Kong with the Avengers recruiting new extraordinary people to join their team, Chapek said, adding that more details will be unveiled during their panel at D23 Expo on Sunday.
