Actor Jeffrey Tambor, his "Transparent" co-star Gaby Hoffmann and "Game of Thrones" author George R R Martin, among others sported green ribbons at the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards in a bid to support US President Barack Obama's climate change plan.
The ribbons were created to demand climate action and the Natural Resources Defense Council thanked the TV stars for wearing the cause, reported Entertainment Weekly.
"Thanks to @jeffreytambor, @OfficialJLD, Louis C.K., @IamDonCheadle and others for supporting climate action!" the official account of the council tweeted.
The green ribbons, which include the phrase "Demand Climate Action," were meant to support the EPA plan to take on climate change.
Comedian Brad Hall and "Game of Thrones" director David Nutter were also spotted wearing the ribbon at the event.
Many stars donned the ribbons last year as well, backing the Green Ribbon Campaign, a movement to open up discussions about mental health.
