The conference, to be chaired by Tourism Minister Shripad Naik, would provide a platform to state governments and other stakeholders to discuss and share their experiences and best practices towards making collective efforts to propel the tourism sector to new heights.
The day-long deliberations will also be attended by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, who will be the chief guest.
The objective for organising the conference is to initiate a high-level discussion on important issues and for closer cooperation with all stakeholders, a senior Tourism Ministry official said.
