A seminar on "Youth Against Drugs" was organised at GJU Auditorium in Hisar where Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar delivered the keynote address.
With more than 2,000 boys and girls from districts of Hisar, Fatehabad, Sirsa, Jind and Bhiwani in the event, Khattar dedicated Facebook, Twitter and Instagram page of "Drug-Free Haryana" campaign to the people, said Hisar Range Inspector General of Police O P Singh.
Reiterating the state government's resolve to end drug abuse in Haryana, he said that as many as 53 de-addiction centres were operating in the state.

With a view to channelizing the energy of the youth towards constructive activities and providing job opportunities, 1,000 gymnasiums would be set up in the state this year, Khattar said.
The police are taking strict action against those indulging in drug trade, he added.
He asked the youth of Hisar to visit different villages and spread awareness about the harmful effects of drugs.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister also launched 'I support drug-free Haryana' social media portal.
IG Hisar Range O P Singh reiterated his resolve to intensify offensive against drug dealers in days ahead.
He said that those involved in the nefarious trade and their patrons would be "identified, exposed and hunted down relentlessly".
He asked his officers to come down hard on drug smugglers and choke the supply line effectively.
