The state is likely to produce 8.43 lakh metric tonnes of garlic this year, the minister said, while replying to the supplementary questions during the question hour in the assembly.
He said that Rajasthan has witnessed bumper garlic production and farmers are getting average price for the crop.
"We will set up a garlic export centre combining four top garlic producing districts so that farmers get good value," Saini said.
Earlier, BJP legislators including Heera Lal, Pratap Singh Singhvi and Prahlad Gunjal had raised the issue that farmers are not getting the right price for their produce due to bumper production in the state.
They demanded amending rules to bring garlic under minimum support price (MSP) ambit.
