The assurance came when the company's Managing Director H M Nerurkar met Chief Minister Arjun Munda and the latter urging him to take initiative in establishing IIIT in the state, an official release said here.
The release said setting up of IIIT has become all the more important after the functioning of Central University, the Legal University and Indian Institute of Management in the state.
When Munda said the company should also ensure basic amenities like water, electricity, health and education in its command area, Nerurkar apprised him of works under the company's Corporate Social Responsibility.
