Sterlite Power on Thursday announced conclusion of the sale of Sterlite Novo Estado Energia S.A. (Novo Estado) to ENGIE Transmisso de Energia S.A.
As a result, today onwards, ENGIE detains 100 per cent of the shares of Novo Estado, and Sterlite Power in Brazil received the respective sale price, under the terms of the Purchase and Sale Agreement, signed between the parties on December 23, 2019, a company statement said.
Sterlite Power is a global developer of power transmission infrastructure with projects of over 13,315 circuit kms and 23,885 MVA in India and Brazil.
