Danny Boyle's much-anticipated "Steve Jobs", starring Michael Fassbender as Apple co-founder, will close London Film Festival.
Based on Walter Isaacson's best-selling biography "Steve" and penned by Aaron Sorkin, the film will be screened in London on October 18. The screening will also mark the European premiere of the movie, said The Hollywood Reporter.
"If London was the cradle of the Industrial Revolution, then San Francisco is the Bethlehem of the digital one. We had a brilliant time making this movie in Silicon Valley, and I hope Londoners will enjoy a behind-the-scenes look into the making of the modern world. It's always special to bring work home, so thanks to BFI London Film Festival for their continued support," Boyle said.
The is not the first time the Oscar winning-director will close the festival.
His films "Slumdog Millionaire" and "127 Hours" brought down the curtains in 2008 and 2010 repectively.
Alongside Fassbender, 38, as the late Apple founder, "Steve Jobs" also stars Kate Winslet, Seth Rogan and Jeff Daniels.
