Director Steven Spielberg has assured fans that the lead character Indiana Jones won't come to a grisly end in the upcoming fifth part of the hit franchise.
The next instalment has a temporary title of "Indiana Jones 5", reported Female First.
Harrison Ford, 73, will reprise his role as the archaeologist in the next film.
"I think this (next Indiana Jones movie) is straight down the pike for the fan, the one thing I will tell you is I'm not killing off Harrison at the end of it," Spielberg said.
The "Indiana Jones" is an American entertainment franchise, based on the adventures of Dr Henry Indiana Jones, a fictional archaeologist.
