Stray male deer rescued

A male deer that
strayed into a village near Similipal sanctuary was rescued by forest personnel near Budhikhamari under Bangiriposi forest range in Odisha's Mayurbhanj district today.
The spotted deer, aged around four years, was sighted inside the house of a villager from where it was rescued, forest officials said.
Following a health check up by a veterinarian the animal was released inside the Similipal sanctuary limits, said Baripada DFO Sanjay Kumar Swain.
