Stray monkey wrecks havoc in Howrah dist

A stray male monkey that created havoc in Puinalya area for the last fortnight has been caught and sent to an animal rescue centre.
Forest officials said the monkey had created havoc in the area and attacked some locals resulting in minor injuries to them.
Yesterday, the animal was shot at by tranquiliser and sent to the animal rescue centre in the Salt Lake area of Kolkata.
