Hot weather conditions prevailed in the national capital today as strong surface winds swept the city with the maximum temperature settling at 38.2 degrees Celsius, a notch above the normal.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 23.7 degrees, two notches above the season's average, said a MeT department official.
The humidity oscillated between 50 and 16 per cent.
The MeT office has forecast clear skies along with strong surface winds during the day for tomorrow.
"The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover at 39 and 24 degrees respectively," the weatherman said.
Yesterday, the maximum and minimum temperatures settled at 38.6 and 23.3 degrees respectively.
