Notion Press, a self-publishing platform, will host a free book publishing and marketing consultation for first time writers, at its stall in the fair.
As part of the consultations, various experts from Notion Press will work with budding writers to help them create a custom publishing and book marketing plan based on "the book, its target audience and the author's goals".
"With the book fairs, we want to reach out to more writers and help them understand how to publish their books the right way," says Naveen Valsakumar, Co-Founder and CEO of Notion Press.
Through its venture at the fair, the platform will seek to promote idea of an 'Authorpreneur' where the author thinks and acts like an entrepreneur treating his book as a start-up.

"A manuscript goes through several critical processes before it is called a published book and most writers are not aware of these. As publishing becomes more democratic, we have often found that the difference between a successful writer and one who struggles is the understanding of the business side of books," says Bhargava Adepalley, Co-Founder and CTO of Notion Press.
The consultations, which can be availed at the Notion Press stalls (97-100) located in Hall 18 of Pragati Maidan here, will also guide writers to market their already published books.
The fair will also see participation by 800 publishing houses from across the country and abroad in different languages including Bangla, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
