Student commits suicide in hostel room

A youth studying at a chartered accountancy coaching institute here hanged himself from the ceiling fan in his room at a hostel in Santinagar area here today, police said.
He was identified as Reddy Sai kumar (20), native of Gajuwaka in Visakhapatnam.
Hostel warden D Subramanyam after noting his absence in the classroom found his body in the room.
Two-town police have registered a case. Preliminary probe revealed that a failed love affair could have led to the suicide.
