Student killed by unidentified assailants

Three persons including an intermediate students were killed in two separate incidents in Palamau district, the police today said.
A 19-year-old student, Kunal Singh, was today beaten to death by unidentified persons in Hamidgunj under Medininagar Town Police station, the police said.
Singh was a resident of Rampur village under Chainpur police station and was living in Hamidgunj for his studies, they said.
In an another incident, one person and his son were shot dead by unidentified persons in Dali village under Chatarpur police station area last night, the police said.
Ketan Singh and his son Jamindar Singh were dragged out of their house last night and shot dead by unidentified persons, said Superintendent of Police, Mayur Patel.

An FIR has been lodged against unidentified persons in this regard, Patel said adding the motive behind the killings as well as the identity of the culprits in both the incidents were not yet established.
