The mishap occured around 5.30 AM when the four were going somewhere in the car and the speeding truck hit it from the rear side, police said.
The deceased has been identified as Abhishek, a resident of Patel Nagar, police said.
After the incident, all victims were rushed to a nearby hospital where Abhishek was declared dead.
"Police have informed the victims' families about the incident and further investigation is on," an official said.
All victims are said to be graduates in hotel management course.
