Police has registered a case of unnatural death after the body of class five student Abu Salem Biswas was found last evening in Memary area's Mamun National High School.
Parents of the child, who stay in Murshidabad, have alleged that he was killed inside the school.
School authorities on the other hand have claimed that it is a case of suicide.
