Neeraj, a student of Vishwakarma Senior Secondary School, was attacked by Sunny and his friends with a knife, following which he received serious injuries in the stomach, they said.
The accused fled the spot immediately after the incident, they said.
While the victim has been admitted to hospital, a case has been registered against the absconding accused.
