Students invited for quiz competition on RBI's role, banking

The New Delhi office of Reserve Bank has invited senior school students for a quiz competition to be held on August 6, 8 and 27.
"The Reserve Bank of India, New Delhi Office invites students in IX, X, XI and XII of all the schools including government schools, private schools and public schools, to participate in RBIQ 2014, an all-India Inter-School Quiz," RBI said in a release.
First competition will held at State Bank of India Academy, Gurukul, Gurgaon. Second on August 8 at Kendriya Vidyalaya Auditorium, Kendriya Vidyalaya Number 2, Delhi Cantt.
Third competition will held on August 27 at Radha Govind Public School, Meerut.
"Winning teams at each location will move to the Zonal Finals and thereafter to the National Finals," RBI said.
Launched in the year 2012, the quiz intends to create awareness and interest about the history and role of RBI, about banking and finance, other banking institutions, economics, current affairs, personalities and events that have contributed to the growth and progress of India over the years.
