Sub-jail compound wall collapses due to rain; none hurt

A portion of the outside compound wall of the sub-jail at Vadakara near here collapsed today due to heavy rains, police said.
No one was injured in the incident which occurred around 8.30 PM, they said.
There was no security breach due to the collapse of the wall to the length of about three metres, Vadakara Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajeesh said.
Several parts of Kerala have been experiencing heavy rains with the onset of the south-west monsoon yesterday.
