Under a scheme for industries, commercial and private institutions, the consumers getting the audits done would be entitled to the subsidy, however, the amount of subsidy would not be exceed Rs 50,000, Deputy Commissioner Amit Kumar Agrawal said.
He said the establishments may complete the necessary formalities and submit the application with the office of the Additional Deputy Commissioner.
After approval of the project by Department of Renewable Energy Haryana, the Bureau of Energy Efficiency would depute a certified energy auditor.
The deputy commissioner said the audit would study the energy consumption pattern of lighting system, air- conditioning network, boiler consumption, motors etc.
Wherever higher than optimum level of energy is being consumed, the auditor would suggest ways to reduce consumption.
If the recommendations of auditors are followed, total power consumption of the district would also be reduced.
