Successive governments' responsible for present situation in

Taking a dig at separatists for their "anti-Kashmiriyat behaviour", Chamber of Commerce of Jammu (CCIJ) today blamed successive governments' in the state for the present situation in Kashmir and said authorities should not allow hate speeches delivered from mosques against the security forces in the Valley.
"We have told the delegation that it is the result of failure and non-deliverance of successive governments in the state due which it has led to the present turmoil. We hope they will take measures to rectify the mistakes," CCIJ president Rakesh Gupta told reporters this evening.
On the question of separatists refusing to meet all-party delegation members, he said, "I cannot say whether they took a good or bad decision but even if enemy comes homes, he should have been welcomed by a cup of tea. It was wrong on the part of the separatists not to open the doors for the delegation members," he said.

CCIJ asked the visiting delegation to ensure that "mosques in Kashmir should not be allowed to deliver hate speeches."
"The issue of use of mosques for hate speeches was put forth and we asked them to ensure that religious places (mosques) should not be used for delivering provocative speeches against our security forces and asking the people to attack them," Gupta said.
"Jammu and Kashmir is a sensitive state and we requested them not to utter any such words or issue statements that add fuel to fire which most people have been doing till now," he said.

Gupta said, "We asked the major Opposition parties in India as to why they did not condole and condemn the attacks on our security forces and the deaths of soldiers. There is no space for playing politics in Jammu and Kashmir and we request all political parties to help restore normalcy here and play a positive role".

"We condemn the statement of Dr Karan Singh, demanding the imposition of Governor rule in the state and we ask him as what good has he done for the people of the state which was most loved and taken care of well by his father and forefathers," he said.
CCIJ rejected the trifurcation of the state and said, "We are not in favour of trifurcation but if the administration can't control the situation and deliver, then what choice will the Jammu people be left with and why should people of Ladakh and Jammu suffer who have always stood with the nation".

Gupta said the strength of the security forces was not enough to contain the mobs and requested the centre to deploy "additional Central forces on permanent basis in the state.
